Adopt a Senior

New program of the Family Life Committee reaching out to our home bound shut-ins and nursing home members to let them know how much we love and appreciate them
Adopt a senior for the next year and be involved as little or as much as you choose
Members are asked top send cards, visit, take extended communion, or whatever you feel you want to do with the relationship
You can choose your senior or be matched with one

Another Opportunity


Donations needed for Orion Area "Backpack Blessings" Program which provides a small bag of supplemental food for 30 needy children to take home each weekend



In addition to basic items ordered from IGA or River Bend Food Pantry, they like to include extra items such as pudding cups, fruit snacks, trail mix, goldfish crackers, and other individually packaged items


donations of these "extras" may be left in the designated container in the courtyard hallway

Another Opportunity  

Donations needed for the Orion Schools breakfast project.  Items appreciated include cheese crackers, peanut butter crackers, pop tarts, granola bars, rice krispy treats, fruit breakfast bars, individual cereal boxes, individual fruit cups.  Monetary donations are also needed for purchasing milk.  There is a basket in the courtyard hallway for your donations.

in response to the victims of the recent Hurricanes
